A topical numbing cream is applied to the skin. SkinVive is then injected using a tiny needle along each cheek. Injection site bruising or bumps can occur but should resolve within a few days.

- Slight bruising and bumps may be present for a couple of days following treatment.
- Avoid significant movement or massaging the treated area unless instructed by your provider.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
- Wait 24 hours before wearing makeup.
